The 2025 Briarde Ride brought together riders and nature enthusiasts for a weekend of discovery in the heart of the Moulins Valley. This edition was marked by a unique partnership with the Domaine du Grand Morin.
On September 13 and 14, 2025, La Chevalchee Briarde once again brought together riders and nature lovers for a weekend of discovery, sharing and heritage. This edition was marked by an exceptional partnership with the Domaine du Grand Morin, an exceptional place managed by Domaines & Events, which opened its doors to participants for a unique immersion in the heart of the valley.
An equestrian tradition
The Briarde Ride Has been an unmissable event for lovers of horseback riding and the great outdoors for several years. For two days, the 49 riders involved crisscrossed the paths between Jouy-sur-Morin and La Ferté-Gaucher, discovering in turn the beauty of the windmills of Crèvecœur, the Marais and the Chair aux Gens, as well as the richness of the local heritage.
Between rivers, forests and typical villages, the participants enjoyed an itinerary combining sport, nature and discovery. The hilly landscapes and the long alleys to gallop offered real moments of freedom, under an ideal September sky.

Two Days of Sharing and Discovery
Throughout the weekend, the Briarde Ride allowed riders to discover the treasures of the Moulins Valley. The itinerary alternated between wooded paths, agricultural plains and crossings of charming villages, offering varied panoramas and moments of complicity between horses and riders.
Some even had the chance to ride along the runways of La Ferté-Gaucher aerodrome, under the takeoff of microlights, for an experience that was both unusual and spectacular. On Sunday, the crossing of the city, organized in partnership with the municipality, ended the stay in a warm and festive atmosphere, under the gaze of the inhabitants.

Les September 27 and 28, 2025, the Coulommiers Wedding Salon has once again brought together many future newlyweds and service providers in the event sector in Seine-et-Marne. For its second consecutive participation, the Grand Morin Estate, member of the collection Domains & events, took part in this unmissable event.
Under a sunny weekend, visitors were able to discover or rediscover this poetic and green reception place, ideal for convivial and intimate weddings. For the estate team, it was an opportunity to meet many couples in preparation for their big day, but also to find trusted partners and to consolidate its local presence.

A new lease of life for a historical heritage
A former vacation center, the Domaine du Grand Morin is now opening up to a completely different future. This 19th century castle, located in an 18-hectare wooded park overlooking the Grand Morin River, now offers a prestigious and soothing setting to host weddings, birthdays, seminars, seminars, study days, corporate evenings etc.
Formerly called Château de Chauffour, the Domaine has known multiple lives: a residence of dignitaries, a military hospital, a corporate vacation center. It is this wealth of history that Domaines & Events wanted to bring to life by combining respect for heritage and modernity.

Une sculpture de Philippe Pousset s’installe au Domaine du Grand Morin
Le Domaine du Grand Morin, niché au cœur de la nature en Seine-et-Marne, accueille désormais une œuvre spectaculaire signée Philippe Pousset, sculpteur contemporain reconnu pour son art monumental et poétique. Cette nouvelle sculpture incarne à la fois la légèreté et la force, et s’intègre harmonieusement dans le paysage vivant du domaine.
Une plume géante en bois de Douglas
Installée récemment dans le parc du domaine, l’œuvre interpelle par sa taille et sa finesse artistique. Il s’agit d’une plume en bois de pin Douglas, haute de près de 5 mètres, posée sur un socle rotatif en acier peint anti-rouille d’un mètre carré. Cette base, conçue comme une girouette, permet à la sculpture de pivoter avec le vent, ajoutant une dimension vivante et changeante à l’œuvre.
Cette création s’inscrit dans une volonté de dialogue entre l’art et la nature : la légèreté symbolique de la plume contraste avec la robustesse du bois massif, tandis que le mouvement perpétuel de la girouette reflète le souffle du vent dans le parc du Grand Morin.

Philippe Pousset est un artiste français connu pour son travail sur les matériaux bruts et naturels. Sculpteur de l’équilibre et de la monumentalité, il puise souvent son inspiration dans les éléments et les formes organiques. Bois, métal, pierre... chaque matériau est pour lui un vecteur d’émotion, un outil pour raconter une histoire.
Ses œuvres, souvent minimalistes mais puissantes, trouvent leur place dans des paysages ouverts, où elles résonnent avec les éléments, la lumière, et les saisons. The Domaine du Grand Morin, formerly Chateau de Chauffour and vacation center, located in the heart of the French countryside in Seine-et-Marne, is preparing for a new life under the aegis of the group Domains & events. An outdoor ceremony: When nature enhances Love
The park that surrounds the castle is a veritable haven of greenery, perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The bride and groom, surrounded by loved ones, exchanged vows under the trees, surrounded by soft natural light that was reflected on the surrounding fields. The Château du Grand Morin: A refined setting for receptions
Inside, the vast rooms of the castle are ideal for receiving guests in a chic and bright atmosphere. The decoration of the reception room, very delicate, consists of Louis XVI-style furniture and country details. Round tables dressed in white tablecloths are decorated with floral bouquets in soft shades of white and blue, recalling the colors of Morin, this river that snakes not far from the estate.
The centrepiece of the decor remains this magnificent blue bedroom with romantic accents. Decorated with a large bed, a golden mirror and elegant furniture, it is the ideal place for the bride and groom to prepare. This room, bathed in natural light, also served as a backdrop for photos full of softness and intimacy.
